1. Rivers Casino Des Plaines Review. Rivers Casino is located at 3000 South River Road in the North Chicago suburb of Des Plaines, Illinois.The casino features nearly 1,000 slot machines, more than 50 gaming tables and seven restaurants including a new (2019) sports bar with tabletop video poker.
2. Rivers casino is the most rigged establishment i have encountered. Hit the jackpot. Machines at tilted. Called over supervisor. They had security throw me out and hit me removed by the police for trying to take photos of the screen.

In 2008, the Illinois Gaming Board awarded the state's 10th and last casino license to Midwest Gaming and Entertainment LLC, a group led by Neil Bluhm,^[1] to build a 140,000-square-foot (13,000 m²) casino on approximately 21 acres (8.5 ha) adjacent to the Tri-State Tollway at the northwest corner of Devon Avenue and Des Plaines River Road. Des Plaines was awarded the gaming license in 2008. The city approved zoning in early 2010. The casino opened in July 2011 as Rivers Casino.

In 2019, Churchill Downs Inc., which owned the nearby Arlington Park racetrack, purchased a 62 percent stake in the casino from Bluhm and his partners for $407 million.^[2][3]

Rivers Casino is located in Des Plaines, Illinois about one mile from O'Hare International Airport at River Toad and Devon Ave. It opened as a riverboat casino in July 2011.

In Nov. 2019 the Illinois Gaming Board approved an application from Rivers Casino to move onto dry land. The casino plans to spend $150 million dollars to build a new casino with 2,000 gaming positions and a sportsbook.
